Another Shadow

This scene is a work in progress, with another animated shadow to help tie the animation into the scene. This looked good in After Effects but when compressed the shadow gets a little lost. I don't know if I should make it more intense or not. Choose '480' quality below to reduce some of the blurring on the surface of the desk for a better idea of how the shadow looks.

    Hi Mark,

    I see what you mean about the shadow, but you are getting a very natural and subtle look that gets rid of the composited look. If you want to intensify it, you could increase the shadow and also add in a very low reflection to the table - that will simulate some reflected colour from the arm and tshirt - that should hopefully help integrate it into the scene.

    I will be back from Canada just in time to see the Masters Degree Show, looking forward to seeing this, it's looking great.
