BIG BANG BIG BOOM

M'collegue showed me this video, a sequel (of sorts) to one of my favourite pieces of animation. Done in stop motion, the frames are all painted onto the real world. Unlike the last one, this one really uses the setting as part of the animation through interaction with the drawings. This is something that interests me a lot and is what I want to do in my project. The juxtaposition created when animation and live action meet has so much potential for conveying ideas, concepts and story. I'll be posting some more films in this vain soon.
